Police Scotland is seeking information regarding a deliberate fire in Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire.
At approximately 11:25 pm on Saturday emergency services were alerted to a blaze at a property on Kilbarchan Road.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire, and investigations are underway.
Detective Sergeant Kenny Taggart, of Paisley CID said “ The fire was set alight within a residential area and caused considerable distress & alarm to nearby residents. Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries.
“I am appealing to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the local area to contact us. I would ask residents in the Bridge of Weir area and surrounding villages who have video doorbell, CCTV or possible dash cam footage to review it , as it may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.
