A man and a woman have been arrested and charged after police seized cocaine worth an estimated £250,000 during a raid in Paisley.
Officers executed a warrant at a property on Caledonia Street, yesterday,at around 4.35pm.
A 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and charged in connection with drugs offences. They are expected to appear in court at a later date and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Superintendent Steven Elliot said: “We remain focused on protecting our communities by removing drugs from our streets, as they bring misery to local people.
“This seizure underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
