Drugs with an estimated street value of £88,000 have been recovered in Paisley, with two men arrested and charged in connection with the find.
Police Scotland confirmed that around 2pm on Monday, 26th January, officers on patrol stopped two men in the Espedair Street area of the town. A quantity of drugs was recovered, and further enquiries led officers to a property in nearby Clavering Street West, where a cannabis cultivation was discovered.
The men, aged 25 and 34, are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 27th January 2026, in connection with drug offences.
Sergeant Stuart Byers said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are determined to bringing those responsible for the supply and sale of illegal substances to justice.
