Families in Renfrew are being invited to hop along to Robertson Park for a free Easter Egg Hunt organised by Renfrew Community Council.

The event will take place on Sunday 5th April 2026, starting at 1.00pm near the side entrance to the park on Craigielee Road.

With spring in the air and Robertson Park providing the backdrop, organisers say the hunt aims to provide a fun afternoon for local families. Chocolate eggs will be available, with Haribo also on hand for children who cannot have chocolate.

Callum Reid, Chair of Renfrew Community Council, said:

“Community events like this are about simple fun and bringing people together. It is a chance for children to enjoy the park, for families to meet their neighbours, and for Renfrew to feel that wee bit more connected.”

Renfrew Community Council is also using the event to highlight the role the group plays in representing local residents and supporting improvements across the town.

Callum Reid added: “The Community Council is your place to bring ideas, raise concerns, and help create positive change in Renfrew. If you care about the town and want to be part of the volunteers moving Renfrew forward, we would love to hear from you.”

Residents are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early and follow any guidance on the day so the hunt can run safely and smoothly. Children should be accompanied by parents or carers.
