A new gothic-themed night market is set to take place in Paisley later this month, bringing craft stalls, live performances and street food to the town centre.
The Gothic Night Market will be held at Browns Lane on Saturday 28th March 2026 from 4pm until 9pm, with organisers promising a mix of shopping, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The free-entry event will feature 16 vendors offering a range of gothic-inspired products, including artwork, jewellery, handmade clothing and themed cakes. Visitors will also have access to the regular indoor market at Browns Lane, alongside two bars and hot food from vendors such as The Crumbologist.
Entertainment on the night will include live music from The Creative Martyrs and a fire dancing performance from Dinah Dare, adding to the event’s alternative atmosphere.
Organisers Icey Promotions say the event builds on the success of a previous gothic market held in November and are hoping to attract both returning visitors and new faces.
Jamie McDermid, owner of Icey Promotions, said: “Following on from the success of our Christmas gothic market in November, we are excited to invite newcomers and old friends to our first Night Market on 28 March 2026. With such a varied mix of vendors and performance artists, there is bound to be a little something spookily special and unique for everyone.”
All ages are welcome, although under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. Children attending the event will receive a free gift on entry, and organisers say profits from table rentals will go towards supporting a free-to-access pet food bank.
The event is expected to add to Paisley’s growing programme of community and creative events, offering something a bit different in the town centre as the spring season gets underway.
