Two men have appeared in court today accused of being involved in serious organised crime.
Scott Lawlor, 38, and Peter Hetherington, 39, made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court during a private hearing.
Lawlor, of Erskine, Renfrewshire, is also accused of assault to injury and two charges of conspiracy.
Hetherington, of Glasgow’s Milton, faces two further charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
The court appearances come after 13 people were arrested in dawn raids last week.
Properties in Scotland and Spain were targeted by law enforcement in connection with a suspected drug trafficking network.
Both were committed for further examination by Sheriff Patrick Hughes.
Lawlor was remanded in custody, while Hetherington was granted bail.
Lawlor will appear in court again within the next eight days, while Hetherington’s date is yet to be determined.
