Former pupils, staff and members of the school community are being invited back to Paisley Grammar School next month for a special farewell event ahead of the school’s move to a new building.
The event, organised by Renfrewshire Council, will take place at the current school building on Monday 1st June, 2026 between 4pm and 7pm.
Visitors will have the chance to reconnect with former classmates and staff, share memories and take a final look around the historic school before the move takes place in August.
Organisers described the evening as a “fun and relaxed” opportunity for people to “revisit, reflect and say goodbye to a place full of memories”.
A message shared by the council said: “As Paisley Grammar School prepares to move to its new building in August, we are inviting pupils, staff, past and present, along with the school community to come together for a special farewell event at the current school.
“This will be an opportunity to reconnect, reflect and share memories, as we mark the closing chapter of a building that has played such an important role in the lives of so many.”
Refreshments will be available during the evening.
There will also be organised tours of the building, although these must be booked in advance through Eventbrite.
Renfrewshire Council added: “Come and reflect, share memories, and celebrate the good times before the new school opens.
“It’s a great chance to catch up with old friends and enjoy the place one last time in person. Don’t miss out on this special event.”
