Comic book fans, gamers, cosplayers and pop culture enthusiasts are being invited to the return of Paisley Comic Con later this month.

The event will take place at Lagoon Leisure Centre on Saturday 20th June from 10am until 4pm, with organisers promising their biggest show in Paisley yet.

Run by BGCP Comic Con, the family-friendly event will feature traders selling comics, Pokémon cards and collectables, alongside free-to-play retro arcade machines, character meet and greets, movie props, workshops and a cosplay competition.

Organisers say they are aiming to keep the event accessible for local families and have released a limited number of half-price tickets.

A spokesperson said: “We want to ensure our events remain open and accessible to everyone in the community. To keep this the most affordable family day out in Renfrewshire, we have added a special allocation of half-price codes.”

Visitors booking online can use the code PAISLEYCOMICCON50 to receive 50 per cent off admission tickets, subject to availability.

The event follows a strong turnout at previous Paisley Comic Con gatherings and is expected to attract fans from across Renfrewshire and beyond.
