A Renfrewshire estate agent has launched a new partnership with a national homelessness charity which will see donations made from successful house sales to help people moving on from homelessness.

Time 2 Sell estate agent Cherrelle Lilley has teamed up with Blue Triangle and pledged to donate a portion of her commission to the charity’s Fresh Start fund.

The fund helps people leaving supported accommodation by providing essential household items to help turn an empty property into a home. These can include bedding, cookware, curtains and other everyday necessities.

Cherrelle, who previously worked for Renfrewshire Council, said she wanted to support vulnerable people and those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

She said: “I’ve always said to myself that if I was ever in a position to support a cause that meant something to me, I would. For me, that means helping vulnerable people, including those experiencing or facing homelessness. When I became an Estate Agent at Time 2 Sell, I realised this was an opportunity to make a real difference.”

Blue Triangle’s Project Manager (Property), Yousef Al-Kheteeb, welcomed the partnership.

He said: “We are so grateful for Time 2 Sell’s very generous offer of a donation to our Fresh Start appeal. This partnership will mean that for successful house sales, someone experiencing homelessness will be gifted essential items to make their new tenancy a home. Fresh Start moving on packs provide dignity and warmth to those with very little.”

Blue Triangle is a registered social landlord which provides supported accommodation and outreach services across Scotland. The charity worked with more than 1,200 people across 35 services last year and was named Scottish Charity of the Year in 2025. Around 45 per cent of people staying in Blue Triangle accommodation were supported into their own tenancies during the year.

The Fresh Start fund was launched in December 2025 and aims to help people moving from homelessness into permanent accommodation by providing practical support and household essentials.

Time 2 Sell says the partnership reflects its commitment to supporting the local community while helping clients buy and sell homes.
