Patients at the mydentist practice on Johnston Street in Paisley have been told the surgery will close at the end of this month, with dental services moving to another practice in Glasgow.
A letter sent to patients says the practice will close on 31st July 2026 because mydentist is required to vacate the building. It states that all dental services at the Johnston Street site will end on that date.
Patients with appointments booked before 31st July are being asked to attend as planned. Any appointments scheduled after that date will be cancelled.
The letter says patients’ dental care will transfer from 3rd August 2026 to mydentist Crown Retail Park, Unit 15, Crown Retail Park, Glasgow, G5 0DP. The practice says patients are welcome to continue their care there.
Patients who do not want to continue their care at the new location are advised they will need to arrange care with another dental provider. The letter directs them to NHS Inform to search for alternative NHS dental practices: www.nhsinform.scot/scotlands-service-directory/dental-services.
The practice has thanked patients for their loyalty and support over the years.
