The Fèis Phàislig Ceilidh Trail will perform at Weaver’s Cottage in Kilbarchan on Sunday, 9th August, giving visitors the chance to enjoy live traditional Scottish music.

The free event will take place from 3pm until 4pm in the garden at the National Trust for Scotland property.

The Ceilidh Trail brings together young musicians for a two-week summer tour across Scotland, running from 27th July until 9th August. During the tour, they perform a mix of traditional and contemporary Scottish and Gaelic music, including jigs, reels and modern arrangements.

Organisers say the performances give both visitors and local people the opportunity to experience traditional Scottish music in a range of settings.

The performance at Weaver’s Cottage will take place outdoors, and visitors are advised to dress for the weather.

A suggested donation of £5 will be collected on the day.

According to the organisers, all proceeds will go towards the conservation of Weaver’s Cottage and support the future of the Fèis Ceilidh Trail, helping to develop young Scottish musicians.
