A man has been taken to hospital following an apparent altercation in Paisley town centre.
The incident happened at around 6.35pm on Sunday, 26th July 2026, on Paisley High Street.
A man was injured and a 999 call was made.
An ambulance attended and the man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. He was in handcuffs when he was taken from the scene.
Four police units attended, with seven police officers at the scene.
Police have set up a cordon covering part of the High Street, from the top of St Mirren Brae to Poundstretcher on the High Street.
A bicycle at the scene is understood to have been connected to one of the men involved.
A police inspector also attended and CID had been contacted.
Renfrewshire News has contacted Police Scotland for a comment.
