Japanese restaurant Maki & Ramen is set to open a new restaurant at Frasers Plus Braehead.
The 3,886 sq ft restaurant will have space for up to 120 customers and will serve Maki & Ramen’s Japanese food, including sushi and noodles.
The Braehead restaurant will be the company’s fourth franchised restaurant and its second franchise location in Scotland.
The opening is part of the restaurant brand’s continued expansion across Scotland and the UK.
Rachel Scott, Head of Leasing at Global Mutual, said: “Maki & Ramen is exactly the type of operator we’re looking to attract. The brand has built a strong reputation across Scotland and the decision to choose Frasers Plus Braehead reflects the confidence ambitious brands continue to have in the scheme.
“Every new signing is about strengthening the overall proposition. By bringing together complementary retail, leisure and hospitality operators, we’re creating a destination that works for both our customers and our occupiers, supporting long-term commercial success.”
Michael Salvador, COO of Maki & Ramen, added: “Braehead was a natural next step for Maki & Ramen. It gives us the opportunity to bring the brand to a destination that already attracts a diverse mix of shoppers, families and leisure visitors, making it the right fit for our next location. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on choosing locations that complement the Maki & Ramen experience, and Frasers Plus Braehead offers exactly that.”
The signing follows the recent relocation of Stack & Still within the centre.
Maki & Ramen will also join restaurants including Nando’s, YO! Sushi and Prezzo at Braehead.
