More than 250 strongman and strongwoman athletes from around the world will compete in Paisley when Natural Strongman Worlds 2026 comes to the Lagoon Centre.
The Natural World’s Strongest Man & Woman competition will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Organisers say 257 drug-tested athletes representing more than 20 countries will take part over the three days.
Competitors will travel from across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand to compete for world titles.
Each athlete will compete across two days and seven events, testing strength, power, endurance and speed.
Junior, masters, weight-class and open championships will be held across men’s and women’s categories.
The competition starts at 12pm on Friday with the Masters and Juniors completing five events until 5pm.
They return from 9am until 11am on Saturday for their final two events and championship podiums.
The U57, U64, U72 and U80 categories will compete from 12pm until 3pm on Saturday, followed by the U73, U82 and U90 categories from 3pm until 6pm.
Open Women, U105 and Open Men will compete from 6pm until 9pm.
Competition resumes at 10am on Sunday for all categories apart from the Masters and Juniors. The remaining athletes will complete their final three events before the world champions are crowned.
Spectator tickets are available for individual days. Adult tickets start at £15 and children’s tickets start at £7.50.
Children under six can attend free if they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap and do not require their own seat.
