André Rieu’s Christmas concert Let It Snow will be screened at ODEON Braehead on 5th and 6th December 2026.
The cinema is among more than 500 across the UK showing the concert. Omniplex Cinema Glasgow is also included.
Filmed in Rieu’s Winter Palace in his hometown of Maastricht, the concert features his Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, a 100-voice male choir and special guest Emma Kok.
The programme includes Let It Snow, All I Want for Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bells and Silent Night, alongside waltzes and classical favourites.
The concert setting features Christmas trees, chandeliers, falling snow, two ice rinks, skaters and dancers.
André Rieu said: “Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, and there is nothing I love more than creating this magical celebration with my orchestra and sharing it with audiences around the world. With Let It Snow, I want everyone in the cinema to feel as though they have stepped into our Winter Palace in Maastricht – surrounded by beautiful music, twinkling lights and, of course, plenty of snow! I hope families and friends will come together, sing along and leave the cinema filled with the joy of Christmas.”
Broadcaster Charlotte Hawkins, of Classic FM and Good Morning Britain, will take cinemagoers behind the scenes, visiting Maastricht’s Christmas markets and interviewing Rieu.
The feature-length event is presented by Piece of Magic Entertainment, with selected repeat screenings to follow.
