A house builder has submitted plans to Renfrewshire Council to build on greenbelt land in Lochwinnoch.
It has not been revealed how many homes will be built but the land mentioned is a 7.5 hectare site at Johnshill and Beech Burn.
Leith Planning Investment are the company behind the idea.
A 12 week consultation has begun with an open day at the McKillop Institute in Lochwinnoch on 7th September 2016.
