David Cameron at Audio Glasgow
Paisley Punk Band Fire Exit’ Christmas party gig played with The Zips from Glasgow, The Cundeez from Dundee, Church of Confidence from Germany and Monkish from London had the audience on their feet throughout the night.
Audio Glasgow on Midland Street under the rail bridge was buzzing like most of Glasgow and though only in Glasgow central station, where one drunk who could barely walk, fell by the escalators, and it’s believed he damaged his leg. The night went off incident free and there was nothing, but great spirits and camaraderie throughout the audience.
If anything, it was shocking that on a Saturday night, the last train out of Glasgow, back to Paisley and beyond left at a sickeningly early 11.50pm.
Come on Scotland, you can do a lot better than this when there are people from all over the UK flooding to this amazing city while hoards are forced to rush for the last train that in its self, was mobbed.
Plenty of them still had money to spend with many premises willing to entertain and bank the takings.
Merry Christmas one and all and those of you still into live bands and punk. Keep an eye out for Fire Exit you‘ll find on facebook: https://en-gb.facebook.com/fireexituk.
