Hearts defender Liam Smith has joined St Mirren on a season-long loan.
The right-back has signed to Hearts until 2019 and has captained the Jambos U20s development squad and made 38 first team appearances.
St Mirren manager Jack Ross has worked with Smith in the past when he was in charge of Hearts U20s.
Liam told the St Mirren website: “I knew it was happening for a while and I’m delighted to eventually get here.
“When I heard the manager wanted me to come here I was definitely keen. There were a couple of other options but this was the best one for me.”
