A teenage boy has been attacked and robbed by a group of youths as he walked along Love Street, close to Fountain Gardens.
The victim, who is 16-years-old, was attacked around 11.30pm on Friday 15th September 2017 after he was approached by a group of six male youths. The group, aged between 16 and 19, proceeded to assault the victim before taking his backpack and a sum of cash.
The victim then ran out of the park and police were called, police are appealing for information regarding the attack.
Detective Sergeant Michael Lochrie from Paisley CID said: “The despicable behaviour displayed by this group of youths is completely unacceptable and enquiries are underway to trace them.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed the group in the area, or anything else suspicious, to come forward.
