Paisley football fan Craig Ferguson has recalled the moment he thought he was being shot at during his 3,200-mile charity walk across America.
Craig shared the story during an appearance on Arnold Clark’s Stars in Cars social media series.
He was asked about the most dangerous situation he encountered while walking from Los Angeles to Boston during this year’s World Cup.
Craig said: “I was walking down the street and someone looked at me really funny and the next thing I know, all I heard was ‘BANG, BANG, BANG’ like gunshots and I ducked down for cover.
“But it turns out the guy was just shooting targets in his garage. He was like, ‘Sorry man, just doing some practice.’
“Don’t practise on me though!”
Craig completed the walk as part of his Tartan Trek challenge and raised more than £1 million for Scottish Action for Mental Health.
