The A737 flyover at Glasgow Airport is closed this morning as an overnight crash causes major disruption on the M8 near Paisley.
The M8 is closed in both directions between Junctions 29 and 30 following a road traffic incident.
The incident happened at around 11.45pm on Sunday, 13th September 2026.
The closure is affecting St James Interchange, with diversions in place and drivers being advised to avoid the affected stretch of road.
Traffic Scotland announced at 5.45am: “M8 between J29-J30 is closed in both directions due to an ongoing road traffic incident. Please use an alternative route and allow extra travel time. Signed diversion route available.”
The A737 flyover at Glasgow Airport is also closed, with traffic being diverted through Erskine.
Traffic through Erskine is very heavy this morning as drivers use alternative routes around the closures.
