A BT Scotland corporate team has completed a memorial walk in Dunoon in memory of their colleague Tom Butt while supporting ACCORD Hospice.

The group walked through one of Tom’s favourite places in Dunoon before making their way up “Tom’s Hill”.

ACCORD Hospice thanked everyone who took part in the walk and those who supported the fundraiser.

The hospice said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the BT Walk in memory of Tom Butt.

“The commitment, determination and positivity shown by the entire BT Scotland Corporate Team made the day a real success. Walking through one of Tom’s favourite places in Dunoon and making their way up ‘Tom’s Hill’ was a wonderful way to remember a much-missed colleague while supporting a local charity.

“There is still time to support BT, as their JustGiving page remains open for donations. Every pound raised helps us continue to support patients and families in the community.

“If this walk has inspired you, your friends, family, or workplace to organise your own fundraising challenge, please get in touch. We’d love to hear about your ideas and support others who want to make a difference.

“Thank you again to everyone who walked, donated, cheered us on and helped make the event such a success.”

The JustGiving fundraising page remains open for donations.
