A school in Bridge of Weir has been awarded Fairtrade status.
Bridge of Weir Primary School, Warlock Road, was giving the title for the effort they have shown in raising awareness for the cause.
The school website says “This is a very significant achievement and recognises the work done by the school to raise awareness of the ways in which we can all help to make the world a fairer place.
“Congratulations to everyone involved and a particular thank you to Mrs Bell, Mrs Dunlop and our Fairtrade committee.”
