A dog from Johnstone Castle has been named Britain’s naughtiest pet after winning a competition run by Butcher’s Pet Care.
Skye, who is nearly two, was entered into the competition by her owner, 31-year-old Kim Adams.
Kim posted a photo of Skye along with details of some of her mischievous behaviour and the votes started pouring in.
Skye was eventually named the winner, earning Kim £50 in vouchers.
She is now in the running for a further £500 if she goes on to win Pet Personality of the Year.
Kim told the Paisley Daily Express: “Skye is such a cheeky companion and it’s fantastic that she has been voted the nation’s naughtiest pet.
“I entered her due to her mischief-making nature, so it’s great that her personality has come across.
“One of the naughtiest things she has done was stealing the cats’ catnip toy, ripping it apart and spreading catnip powder all over my clean bed.
“She can be quite destructive. I bought her a football tuggy toy that didn’t even last 24 hours.”
Skye is also known for chasing the cats around Johnstone Castle.
