Date: Sunday 12 July
Venue: Paisley town centre

Paisley will be the venue for a feast of top-class cycling action when the 2015 British Cycling Youth National Circuit Race Championships takes place in the town.

This is the first time Scotland has ever hosted the race, which is your chance to see the sport’s stars of the future, with previous medallists including world champion Mark Cavendish and Olympic medal-winners Geraint Thomas, Ross Edgar and Laura Trott.

The venue has previously been used for the Scottish Crit Champs and is based on a town centre route through Paisley Cross and around the periphery of the outstanding Abbey and Town Hall.

The event was brought to Paisley through a joint bid by Renfrewshire Council and the Paisley 2015 group of local cycling clubs.

The council will be laying on live entertainment on the day including music, the BMX stunt team, and freestyle footballer Jamie Knight
