A major Pipe Band competition is to be held in Paisley, it has been announced.
The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association has confirmed that Paisley will host the first pipe band major championship of next year on 21st May 2016.
The arrangement has been made with Renfrewshire Council for the next three years.
The championship was previously held in Bathgate, West Lothian.
