A 29-year-old male has been arrested after he was caught breaking into a house in Paisley.

The break-in happened at a property in Greenlaw Gardens on Sunday 4th December 2016.

He was also charged with breaking into houses in Arkleston Road and Marchbank Gardens, Paisley and appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday 6th December.

Police Scotland Said: “Please ensure you take the necessary steps to secure your house when you leave each day and prior to going to bed each night to prevent your home being broken into.

“Lock your doors, enable alarms, check your windows are secure and check your sheds are locked and have adequate padlocks. If you see anyone suspicious call 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
