A 17-year-old male has been arrested as he was breaking into a commercial property in Paisley.
Police made the arrest on Underwood Road in the early hours of Friday morning (02/12/16) and he appeared at Paisley Sheriff on Tuesday (05/12/16) where he pled guilty and will be sentenced on 30th December.
Police Scotland said: “Please ensure you take the necessary steps to secure your house when you leave each day and prior to going to bed each night to prevent your home being broken into.
“Lock your doors, enable alarms, check your windows are secure and check your sheds are locked and have adequate padlocks. If you see anyone suspicious call 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
