In a matter of days, we will find out if Paisley has made the top of the list and won the title of UK City of Culture in 2021.
The Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has announced that the winner will be revealed on The One Show on BBC One.
The show will come live from the current UK City of Culture, Hull, and the announcement will be made by arts and culture minister John Glenn, between 7pm and 7.30pm.
Paisley has been named on a shortlist of five, which also includes Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent, Sunderland and Swansea.
