Paisley has lost out on the title of UK City of Culture in 2021 to <<name>>.
The announcement has just been made live from Hull, broadcast live on BBC One.
Members of team Paisley are in Hull, including bid director Jean Cameron and Renfrewshire Council leader Iain Nicolson.
The remaining members of the team, as well as local business leaders, politicians and guests are at a special live screening of the result at the University of the West of Scotland.
