A local Councillor has successfully compelled a motion calling on Renfrewshire Council to ask Scotrail to review a village railway carpark.
Emma Rodden, SNP councillor for Johnstone North, Kilbarchan, Howwood and Lochwinnoch put forward a motion calling on Renfrewshire Council to write to ScotRail and Network Rail, urging a review of parking provision and disabled access for Lochwinnoch Train Station.
Cllr Rodden said: “Delighted that the motion was passed unanimously and Renfrewshire South MSP Tom Arthur has agreed to echo our requests with the relevant authorities also.”
