A 32-year-old man has been seriously assaulted in Linwood.
The man was walking on Clippens Road at Cowal Drive at around 10.20pm on Saturday when he was approached by a group of males and seriously assaulted.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital, Paisley for treatment and has since been released.
Detective Constable Barry Gourley said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact us.
“I am also appealing for anyone who was driving in the area and who may have dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 4871 of Saturday, 9 September, 2023.”
