In response to an urgent appeal for donations from The Renfrewshire Toy Bank, as part of its ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, the staff at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland have collected 77 gift bags of toys which will be taken along to one of the toy bank’s local drop-off points.

The volunteer-led charity has seen a massive increase in the number of families who need some help, and its mission is to ensure that all children and teenagers receive a gift on Christmas Day.

Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, Lauren Roy Sutherland from The Renfrewshire Toy Bank said:  “We are delighted to have the support of Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and their gifts will add a great boost to the generous donations that we’ve had from so many other local businesses and individuals.”

Kara Newman, who co-ordinated the toy collection for her colleagues at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said: “Being able to work with local groups and charities is important to us, and I’m proud of our team both in our office and across our network of developments in the west of Scotland for gathering such a large collection of gifts for The Renfrewshire Toy Bank.

“We know the gifts will ultimately find a way to bring some festive cheer to children across the local area, and we’d like to thank the volunteers at the toy bank for the incredible work they do.”
