Paisley & District u3a members warm up for singalong, Allana Parker

Those seeking a bit of fun and communal singing have a treat ahead of them at Paisley & District u3a.

Music teacher and vocalist, Jasmine Dey is delivering a musical workshop on Thursday 4th January. She assists the Paisley-based Brick Lane Musical Academy.

Participants can enjoy percussion games, singing warm-ups and learning some Scottish songs.

Shy members at this New Year monthly meeting in Paisley’s Salvation Army Hall in Mill Street can have a go at answering Jasmine’s musical trivia questions.

u3a chair, Kathy O’Donnell said: “We think this low-key event will bring us a bit of cheer and help chase the January blues away. It’s also a good opportunity to meet up with others and enjoy some refreshments between1.30pm -2pm before the session starts.”
