Crowds are set to soak up the summer vibes at Barshaw Gala Day with an afternoon packed full of exciting activities for all the family.
Taking place on Saturday 21st June, from 12 noon to 5pm, Barshaw Park will be a hive of activity as the local community comes together for one of the highlights on the calendar.
There will be a variety of stalls from local businesses, food traders and community groups, and of course, the gala day favourites of face painting, inflatables and funfair rides.
Free arts and crafts workshops including kite and badge making, and walkabout entertainment from Surreal McCoy’s Giant Seagulls.
Paisley Radio will be hosting the live stage showcasing talented local performers and running fun family activities across the afternoon. Listen out for their treasure hunt where ten lucky winners will receive goodie bags!
Barshaw’s very own miniature railway will be running throughout the day and there will be boat racing on the pond with Paisley Model Yacht Club.
Public transport to Barshaw Park is available with a number of bus stops conveniently located on Glasgow Road. Please consider using public transport or active travel as parking in the area is limited. Parking within the park is designated for blue badge holders.
