Police Scotland has issued a public appeal for help to find a 76-year-old man who has gone missing from Renfrew.

Henry Nicol was last seen at 8:09am this morning, Saturday 12 July 2025, on Dee Avenue.

Henry is white, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, of medium build, and has grey or white hair. He may be clean-shaven or have light stubble. His clothing is currently unknown. He is also known as Harry.

Police are urging residents in the area to check garages, sheds, and outbuildings. They are increasingly concerned for Henry’s wellbeing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Concerns are growing for Henry and if anyone has any information regarding him or has any knowledge as to his whereabouts, please call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1224 of Saturday 12th July 2025.”
