Bridge of Weir Care Home invites community to summer fair

Bridge of Weir Care Home will host its annual Summer Fair this Saturday from 2pm to 4pm – promising an afternoon packed with fun for all the family.
This year’s fair will feature a Hawaiian theme, with stalls and games, a bouncy castle, a human fruit machine, and even a visit from Paddington Bear. Live music will be provided by Charlie Gorman, with plenty of treats on offer including ice cream, home baking, and hot dogs.
There will also be a fantastic raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, including:
- £100 voucher for Amaretto, Bridge of Weir
- Family pass for four to Cameron House Leisure Club
- M&S hamper including a £50 voucher
- Overnight stay with breakfast for two at Gleddoch House Hotel & Spa
- Pair of tickets to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra
- £50 Mitchells & Butlers voucher
- Signed Celtic top
- Two bottles of Laphroaig whisky
- Family pass for four at David Lloyd
- Four-ball at Pollok Golf Club
- Bottle of Aberlour A’bunadh cask strength single malt
- Plus many more hampers of goodies.
The raffle draw will take place at around 3.45pm on the day.
The residents and care team have thanked local families and businesses for their generosity and support, helping to make this year’s fair possible.
Entry is just £1 and the event will be held at Morar, 11 Kilmacolm Road, Bridge of Weir (on the site of the old Bulls Garage).
