Veterans and their families are being invited along to a Burns Breakfast taking place at Colliers Bar in Johnstone on Saturday 25th January.

The event, organised by the Johnstone & District Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club, gets under way at 11am and will feature a traditional haggis roll breakfast, with tea and coffee included.

Those attending will also be able to take part in a Burns Quiz, as well as a coin toss competition, with a bottle of Robert Burns Single Malt Arran Whisky up for grabs. Organisers are encouraging people to bring plenty of pound coins along to join in.

The breakfast costs £5 and is open to all veterans and their immediate family members.

The Veterans Breakfast Club meets on the last Sunday of every month and aims to provide a relaxed, welcoming space for former service personnel and their families to come together.
