Kilbarchan Amateur Athletic Club athlete Zara Redmond earned her first Great Britain selection during the 2025 cross country season after a strong step up into the under-20 age group.
The former Gryffe High School pupil secured her place on the Great Britain team following a fourth-place finish in the Under-20 women’s race at the Liverpool Cross Challenge in November 2025. The event was held at Sefton Park and formed part of the selection process for the European Cross Country Championships.
Zara’s performance in challenging conditions confirmed her selection for the European Cross Country Championships in Portugal, marking a significant milestone in her early under-20 career.
