Thorn Athletic will host Hurlford United in the quarter-finals of the Strathclyde Demolition WoSFL Cup, with the draw pitching the WoSFL Second Division side against Premier Division opposition as the competition reaches the last eight.

The tie gives Thorn home advantage, but Hurlford will be hard to beat. They currently sit 10th in the Premier Division table, with six wins and six losses.

Johnstone Burgh have been drawn away against the winners of St Cadoc’s, Lanark United or Auchinleck Talbot. It’s a potentially daunting assignment on paper, particularly if an in-form Talbot side emerge from the previous round.

Elsewhere in the draw, Troon will face Drumchapel or East Kilbride Thistle, while Shotts Bon Accord or Muirkirk will take on Irvine Meadow XI or Benburb.

All available quarter-final ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday 14th February.
