A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with six attempted thefts and one theft in the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley.
The incidents took place on Tuesday 7th April 2026. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court from police custody.
Residents are being reminded to remain vigilant and take steps to protect their property.
Police advise residents to ensure cars are locked and secured when parked, keep valuable items including keys out of sight, lock all doors and windows, and install CCTV where possible.
Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity is urged to contact police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
