A popular gothic-themed market is set to return to Paisley this weekend, bringing live music, cabaret, alternative shopping and family-friendly entertainment to Browns Lane.
The Summer Goth Market will take place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday at Browns Lane Creative Hub, with organisers promising two days packed with traders, performers, food and drink.
Organised by Icey Promotions, the event builds on the success of previous goth-themed markets held in Paisley and will feature 28 vendors across the weekend.
Visitors can browse a wide range of stalls selling gothic artwork, jewellery, handmade crafts and clothing, while also enjoying full access to Browns Lane’s indoor market.
Entertainment will include live music from John the Hat and cabaret performances by Lady Hart, alongside two bars serving a range of drinks.
Food stalls will offer ice cream, candy floss and fresh popcorn throughout the weekend.
All profits from table rentals will support a free-to-access pet food bank, while free books and toys will be available for children while stocks last.
Jamie McDermid, owner of Icey Promotions, said: “We are excited to build on the success of our Goth Night Market by launching our first ever Summer Goth Market.
“The combination of carefully curated vendors and live entertainment will make for a weekend not to be missed.”
The event is open to all ages, although children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Summer Goth Market runs from 1pm until 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free, although visitors are encouraged to make a £1 donation on arrival.
