Families are being invited to take part in a new summer holiday challenge at GRID Braehead, with four families set to win vouchers worth £250.

The Summer Side Quests challenge is designed for children aged seven to 14 and turns a visit to the entertainment venue into an interactive game with missions, rewards and prize draws.

Families can collect a Side Quest card and complete challenges across several attractions, including Gravity Active, Climbzone, Paradise Island Adventure Golf and Tenpin.

The activities include finding hidden letters at Gravity Active, taking selfies with themed displays at Paradise Island Adventure Golf, completing climbing challenges at Climbzone and bowling, karaoke and arcade challenges at Tenpin.

Players collect stamps and experience points (XP) as they complete challenges. As they progress, they unlock rewards, exclusive perks and entries into prize draws, including the chance for four families to win vouchers worth £250.

New challenges will be introduced every two weeks throughout the summer holidays.

Bruce Harley, Centre Manager at GRID Braehead, said: “Summer Side Quests is all about turning a family day into something even more exciting. With good value quests and some free challenges to complete, rewards to unlock and prizes up for grabs it gives families a fun, affordable way to experience some of GRID’s exciting offering throughout the school holidays.

“With new quests dropping every two weeks, there will always be something fresh to discover, whether families are visiting for the first time or coming back to level up their score.”
