Glasgow Airport and BA Cityflyer have launched a new direct service between Glasgow and the Spanish coastal city of San Sebastián.
The seasonal twice-weekly route began on Saturday, 18th July, and gives Scottish travellers direct access to the Basque city during the summer.
Flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday until 8th September 2026. The route links Glasgow with San Sebastián, a destination on Spain’s northern coast known for its beaches, Old Town and food scene.
Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer, said: “We were delighted to launch our new direct service between Glasgow and San Sebastián, giving our Scottish customers even more choice and convenience when planning their summer holidays.
“The route provides direct access to one of Spain’s most popular coastal destinations, and we’re confident it will prove popular with customers looking to explore the Basque region’s stunning coastline, culture and world-renowned cuisine.”
Gavin Birch-Williams, Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the launch of the BA Cityflyer new direct service between Glasgow and San Sebastián.
“This exciting addition further strengthens our summer route network and provides passengers across Scotland with even greater choice when booking their holidays.
“San Sebastián is a fantastic destination that combines beautiful beaches, exceptional cuisine and a unique cultural experience.
