Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has donated £500 to Renfrewshire Foodbank to help boost essential food supplies during the summer holidays.
The foodbank says summer is one of its most challenging periods, with families facing increased pressure when school meal support pauses.
The donation will help Renfrewshire Foodbank replenish its stock and continue supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship across Renfrewshire.
Renfrewshire Foodbank is currently running its ‘Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Break’ appeal. It is encouraging local residents and businesses to donate food, funds or time to help meet demand during the summer.
Bex Lang, Marketing Manager for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “Summer should be a time of ease for families, but for many it brings added financial strain. Food banks across the region work tirelessly to bridge that gap, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting Renfrewshire Foodbank’s incredible efforts.
“We hope our donation helps them continue to provide essential support throughout the summer months.”
