A youth has been charged with a number of offences after police received complaints about an electric scooter being ridden in Paisley.
Police received a number of complaints on the afternoon of Saturday 25th July about a youth riding an electric scooter in the Rowan Street area.
Officers attended and traced the youth.
Police said the youth was subsequently charged with a number of road traffic offences and an offence under Section 38 of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010.
An Isinwheel S10 Pro electric scooter was also seized by officers.
Police said officers working as part of Project Trail will continue to tackle the issue and, where offenders are identified, charge them with relevant offences.
Police thanked members of the public for their assistance in reporting these matters.
