Michelle Campbell MSP has visited Turf Youth and Community Project to meet staff, volunteers and young people taking part in its Friday Night Drop-In.
During the visit, Ms Campbell heard directly from young people about their experiences at Turf and the difference the project makes in their lives.
She also learned more about the youth work carried out by the project.
Ms Campbell brought along a copy of a motion she recently submitted celebrating Turf’s work with local young people.
Following the visit, she said: “A huge thank you to Josh, the fantastic staff, volunteers, and most importantly the young people who welcomed me along to their Friday Night Drop-In.
“It was great to hear directly from young people about their experiences at Turf and the difference the project makes in their lives and the wider community. Seeing first-hand the impact of their youth work and learning more about this important part of the project’s work, was a real highlight.
“I also had the chance to bring along a copy of the motion I recently submitted celebrating the incredible work Turf does for local young people.
“Thanks again to everyone for having me along.”
