Paisley-based PACE Theatre Company is bringing back its seaside adventure for children aged up to five for a Scottish tour this October.
Doon the Watter is a celebration of nature, storytelling and adventure.
The production follows two sisters as they set off on a trip “doon the watter” to their favourite island.
Their journey is filled with stories of magical mermaids, soaring seabirds and mischievous seal pups.
The show was created by the team behind The House-Proud Mouse and Aunt Alma’s Attic.
It is written and directed by Lyndsey Graham and was developed with Eleanor Farrelly and Iona Ramsay.
The production features original music by Alan Orr, with lyrics by Iona Ramsay.
Doon the Watter stars Amy Gallagher, whose previous work includes There’s No Room in Our Bathroom for Lewis Capaldi, My Shrinking Life and BBC Radio Drama’s Loch Ness.
She will be joined by Iona Ramsay, who appeared in The House-Proud Mouse and Aunt Alma’s Attic.
The tour will open at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine on Wednesday 7th October before visiting venues across Scotland.
