Police are appealing for information after a man was injured while trying to escape two men reportedly carrying weapons in Johnstone.
Officers received a report of two men with weapons outside a flat in Graham Street at around 3.35pm on Tuesday, 15th September 2026.
A 28-year-old man was injured after falling from a window while trying to get away from the men.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Police are carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage as they try to trace the men involved.
Detective Constable Jade Clark said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area on Tuesday afternoon, in particular, anyone with doorbell recording equipment or dash-cam users. Please can you check your footage for any images which could assist our investigation.”
