Paisley Halloween Market set to transform town hall into spooky spectacular

Paisley Town Hall will be at the heart of the town’s Halloween celebrations later this month as the Paisley Halloween Market returns on Saturday 25th October.

Running from 11am until 6pm, the event forms part of the award-winning Paisley Halloween Festival Fringe 2025 and promises a full day of spooky shopping, entertainment and family fun.

More than 40 stalls will line the Main Hall, offering a curious mix of gothic artwork, eerie homeware, handcrafted jewellery, vintage clothing, vinyl records, toys, collectables and sweet treats. Shoppers can browse everything from Chulo’s stuffed cookies to Revamped Art & Design’s creative pieces, with a line-up designed to cater for all ages and tastes.

Adding to the atmosphere, DJs Daniel Hive and Calvin C will be spinning sets throughout the day, before the action builds to the popular costume competition at 5pm, where prizes await the best dressed ghosts, witches and ghouls.

Gamers are in for a treat as the Retro Arcade resurrects a range of classic video games and pinball machines, giving visitors a chance to relive arcade favourites such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Mario.

Upstairs, the Excelsior Events Takeover promises a huge draw for families and comic fans. An entire room will be filled with toy and comic traders, alongside meet and greet opportunities with iconic characters including Optimus Prime, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario and Pikachu. Traders such as Cult Empire Comics, DNA Toys and Orion’s Belt Comics will join comic creators Simon Forrester, Grant Pluu and Rachel James for a full day of fan-friendly fun.

Elsewhere, the Jacquard Suite will feature hands-on workshops and activities. Highlights include bath bomb making with Lush Braehead, cupcakes and face painting from Dmyc Custom Cakes, permanent jewellery from Forever Sky High, and a chance to carve your own pumpkin at the dedicated carving stations.

Visitors can also take time to relax at the Cocktail Bar or Main Bar, which will be serving cocktails, mocktails and street food throughout the day.

With its mix of shopping, gaming, live entertainment and family activities, organisers Big Feed x Vinyl & Vintage say this year’s event will be “Paisley’s most haunting day out yet”.
